Spinning rocket ships greet you at the entrance to Tomorrowland, a continually changing and evolving glimpse into the future. Of all the "lands" in the park Tomorrowland has probably changed the most over the years as technology has advanced and much that used to seem like part of the future suddenly became part of the present. Whether you're
helping Buzz Lightyear defend the galaxy, soaring through the stars on
Space Mountain, or taking a fantastic Star Tour to the moon of Endor,
these futuristic experiences are sure to create some timeless memories. Astro Orbitor - Fly high above Tomorrowland in your own spacecraft. Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters - It's all up to you: defeat Zurg and save the galaxy! Disneyland Railroad, Tomorrowland Station - Located between the Autopia and Innoventions, next stop is Main Street station via the Grand Canyon and Primeval World dioramas. Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage - Board a submarine for an undersea voyage to a new deep-water volcano, with views of beautiful coral reefs along the way - and some surprising encounters with Nemo and the rest of the Finding Nemo gang. Honey I Shrunk the Audience - In this 3D show the Imagination Institute presents its "Inventor of the Year" award to Professor Wayne Szalinksi... but there's a slight mishap with his Incredible Shrinking Machine. Innoventions - Interactive virtual reality games and technological exhibits. Space Mountain - Blast through space on this high-speed, cosmic roller-coaster adventure. Starcade - Features a variety of arcade games. Star Tours - Motion simulator based on popular Star Wars movies. Tomorrowland Autopia - Drive your own whimsical car around the track - including an off-road portion.
Tomorrowland
Monorail Station - Ride the Disneyland monorail to the Downtown Disney
monorail station. The main entrance to Tomorrowland can get quite congested since the Astro Orbitor is at ground level right at the entrance, and the entrances to Star Tours and Buzz Lightyear are nearby. It's often easier to get into Tomorrowland by taking the path from the hub towards Triton Garden, and then going around the right side of the Matterhorn. The Tomorrowland Train Station can be a little hard to find - take the path between Innoventions and the Autopia.
Tomorrowland Terrace - Burgers, sandwiches, and snacks Redd Rockett's Pizza Port - Pizza, pasta, and salads. Disneyland
Restaurants at a Glance Hatmosphere - Disney character hats including personalized Mickey Mouse ears. Little Green Men Store Command -- Disney pins and Buzz Lightyear toys. The Star Trader - Star Wars merchandise, Disney plush, hats, and other souvenirs. Tomorrow Landing - Star Wars and Finding Nemo merchandise. Many of the plants growing in the landscaping areas of Tomorrowland are edible fruits and vegetables, like cabbage, strawberries, parsley, and orange trees. Tomorrowland was extensively rehabbed in 1997 and "reopened" in May 1998. Among the changes: the Astro Orbitor was relocated to ground level at the entrance to Tomorrowland - no longer requiring an elevator ride to the loading area. The rocket ship over the drink stand in front of Redd Rockett's Pizza Port is the Moonliner from the original Rocket to the Moon attraction. Tomorrowland's attractions have changed greatly over the years. Some of the previous attractions are: Rocket to the Moon, Flying Saucers, House of the Future, Adventure Thru Inner Space, Rocket Rods, and America Sings.
