This weekend D23 is hosting its 2018 Destination D event at Walt Disney World‘s Contemporary Resort.

This popular event for Disney fans is sold out, but we had a sneak peek of the event that we wanted to share with you. Some of the merchandise is limited to only the Destination D event, so you won’t find it in stores or online, but we thought you might like a look anyway!

A favorite for attendees of this event is an opportunity to shop at a Mickey’s of Glendale Pop-Up shop.

At a media preview, we were able to take some photos of the special merchandise in the shop.

There’s all sorts of stuff, from t-shirts and jackets to pens and tumblers, tote bags and more. Of course there’s quite a bit of Destination D logo merchandise exclusive to the event, as you can see above.

There’s also an assortment of unique Imagineering themed shirts and other apparel.

But there were a few other newer, flashier items that grabbed our attention.

Of course, all eyes are on Mickey this weekend as he celebrates his 90th birthday.

Have you seen the new celebration outfits that Mickey and Minnie will be wearing this year as we all observe their milestone? They debuted them at a birthday bash in the Magic Kingdom to kick off the anniversary weekend.

There’s an entire line of merchandise at the Destination D pop-up shop that echoes this celebratory design. Take this tote bag for instance, which matches the confetti print.

Minnie is in on the party action on this fun, confetti-printed shirt.

There’s also plush — very special, limited edition plus of Mickey and Minnie. Only 1000 of these plushes were made, so when they’re gone, they’re gone!

If you are looking for a sparkly tumbler, there’s one just for this occasion!

We also had a bit of a surprise, when we spotted on one side of the shope a display featuring the new attraction coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2019, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

Train fans will love all of this merchandise, which includes apparel, a denim jacket, a train whistle and an engineer hat!

If you are going to the event, don’t miss the fun photo opportunity at the shop’s entrance! Those are some big shoes!
