AMC Theaters at Disney Springs has had quite the summer event already bringing Disney movies to the silver screen with titles like Elemental, The Little Mermaid, and Haunted Mansion. Now, they’re looking to bring one of the biggest names in music right in front of your eyes as long as you’re willing to play by the rules.

If you’re anything like us and had an incredible (read that as impossible) time scoring tickets to see Taylor Swift |The Eras Tour in person, chances are you’ve already snagged your ticket to see her on the silver screen at your local theater.

It’s a big year for Disney movies!

If you’re not as well versed in Tay-“lore,” allow us to break down this epic tour. The Eras Tour is Taylor’s most recent tour that kicked off on March 17th this year and will run in person through November 23rd, 2023. This tour consists of 52 dates, covering 20 stadiums, and 146 shows, and features a massive song setlist spanning 10 albums… those are pretty impressive numbers by any measure. It has been such a hit that new dates have already been announced — and sold out — for 2024.

Taylor’s taken this tour a step further with a ginormous catwalk, shocking stunts, and of course, costumes galore. It might as well be a full-fledged, one-woman Broadway theatrical performance. This is the tour that caused chaos on the internet for those hoping to snag tickets to the concerts to see her belt out her best vocals live on stage and caused enough rumble to mimic seismic activity equivalent to a literal earthquake during a performance in Seattle.

Now that it’s all ringing a bell for you, local theaters across the country have launched showings of a recorded concert to be played for those hoping to see it for themselves, or just want to see it again. AMC Theaters at Disney Springs will be running limited-time showings of Taylor Swift’s latest tour concert in full but if you’re planning on attending, there are a few rules you’ll need to keep in mind or you could find yourself being asked to leave the concert (movie). AMC Theaters posted the rules they are asking each concert viewer to come keep in mind while experiencing this movie.

  • Taylor Swift Eras attire and friendship bracelets are strongly encouraged!
  • Masks (except for standard face masks used explicitly for health and safety reasons) are not permitted.
  • We encourage dancing and singing throughout this concert film event, but please do not dance on our seats or block other guests from viewing, safely walking or exiting the auditorium.
  • Feel free to take selfies and group photos, but you may not record the concert film on our big screen.
  • Have the best time, but please be respectful of other guests enjoying the concert film or other movies at AMC.
  • The approximate runtime is 2 hours and 45 minutes, plus approximately 10-15 extra minutes for pre-show and trailers before the concert film starts.
  • Outside food and drinks are not allowed.
  • Tickets are non-refundable.
  • This concert film experience is excluded from A-List reservations.
  • No passes, exchange tickets, or discount tickets may be used.

The rules basically outline that friendly concert-going contact and camaraderie are encouraged. Dancing and singing throughout the concert are allowed (and probably expected) but within safe and friendly boundaries — just don’t dance on their seats or block others from seeing the concert, too. Pictures and selfies are also allowed but filming the concert is a hard NO.

The rules go on to remind you that trailers and pre-shows will be played around 15 minutes before the concert film starts, and “normal” theater rules like no outside food or drink still apply.
