While there’s generally no such thing as an “easy” to get Disney dining reservation, we think these will be especially tricky to get in 2025.
It is almost impossible to get into some of Disney World’s restaurants without a dining reservation. In fact, for the most in-demand restaurants on property, you need to try and make the reservation as SOON as the 60-day window opens to have hope of getting one. While demand levels can fluctuate, we think these are likely to be the most in-demand Disney dining reservations in 2025.
Cinderella’s Royal Table
Much like real estate, sometimes demand for a dining reservation comes down to “Location, Location, Location!”
There are arguably “better” food options at Disney World, and even inside the Magic Kingdom, than Cinderella’s Royal Table’s menu of basic American favorites like lamp chops, filet mignon, grilled chicken, fish, or gnocchi. However, none of them offer the experience of actually eating INSIDE the castle — AKA the most famous icon of the park — with Disney characters. That alone has made Cinderella’a Royal Table one of the hardest reservations to get in Disney World, and will remain so in the foreseeable future.
Topolino’s Terrace
From one of Walt Disney World’s oldest in-demand restaurants to one of its newest.
Topolino’s Terrace — located at the top of the Riviera Resort — has quickly become a favorite amongst Disney visitors thanks to its rooftop patio, stunning views, whimsical character breakfast, and delicious French/Italian fusion menu. In particular, the reservations in the 7PM to 9PM window are particularly hard to come buy, as the restaurant offers a full panorama of EPCOT’s nighttime fireworks.
Oga’s Cantina
While seats in this Galaxy’s Edge bar usually aren’t as hard to get as they were when the massive Star Wars land first opened in 2019, the location’s renowned atmosphere and small capacity — anyone whose ever been in there knows how cramped it can be — still make it harder than most places to snag a reservation, especially during in-demand times of day.
Space 220
EPCOT’s Space 220 is another newer restaurant on this list, which keeps its reservations somewhat hard to come by as many guests are still booking the experience for the first time.
Victoria & Albert’s
Without a doubt Disney World’s most expensive and exclusive restaurant, Victoria & Albert’s will still be a hard reservation to get in 2025.
Demand for the acclaimed restaurant — Victoria & Albert’s has been awarded the AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star awards, as well as being named the #2 fine dining restaurant in America by TripAdvisor — has only increased after it was closed for almost two years during and after the pandemic.
1900 Park Fare
Remaining in the Grand Floridian Resort, we have the final restaurant on our list: 1900 Park Fare.
First of all, the restaurant reopened in April 2024 after a closure of over four years. That alone skyrockets demand for reservations substantially. Secondly, in addition to refreshed food and decor, the restaurant’s character dining options have been revamped.
You can dine with characters like Aladdin (in his Prince Ali look), Cinderella, and Encanto’s Mirabel. However, the final character is truly the one who’ll driving demand in 2025: Tiana in her new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure look. Now we do need to note here that not everyone is happy about the change in characters at this location, where you used to meet Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, Tigger, Pooh, and the Mad Hatter at breakfast, and Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella at dinner. But we expect the new characters to drive new demand.
New Restaurants
In addition to these restaurants, there are some new Disney World restaurants that haven’t opened yet, but we expect to be hard-to-get reservations in 2025. First up is the Cake Bake Shop at Disney’s BoardWalk. This restaurant is supposed to be opening in early 2024, though we don’t have an opening date yet.
The Cake Bake Shop will have sweet and savory menus, and the restaurant will offer an afternoon tea — which we expect to be in high demand, especially since the Grand View Tea Room at the Grand Floridian has yet to re-open after the pandemic-related closures in 2020.
Another spot that could be in demand — if it takes reservations — is the Pirates of the Caribbean-themed tavern promised for Magic Kingdom.
We don’t know much at all about this spot, but we wonder if it could be like Oga’s Cantina — where you need reservations to enter and there’s a time limit on your visit (and we get it, because we would want to hang out there for hours if we could). If that’s the case with this new tavern opens, we expect it to be in high-demand for a LONG time.
And then there’s the potential for a new restaurant at the Polynesian Village Resort. Disney is building a new tower there that will house Disney Vacation Club Villas, and we do know there will be new dining locations within the new building.

Dining/eating is a huge part of any trip I make to Disneyworld. I think I just eat my way around the world. It will be a huge mistake not to offer afternoon tea at the GF. However nice the new cake place is at the Boardwalk, nothing compares to the ambiance of the GF. I would probably do tea at each place, just because that is something I have enjoyed doing at Disney for many years.
