Star Wars Nite is finally HERE!
We can’t wait to experience the park after dark, potentially be IN the parade, and so much more. There are tons of exciting things to experience during this event and you won’t want to miss any of them!
Star Wars Nite takes place on April 16th, 18th, 23rd, 25th, 30th and May 2nd, 7th and 9th, 2024. There’s a lot to take in during this event, but don’t worry, we’re here to walk you through it!
Entertainment
One of the biggest ride draws is that there’s a special ride overlay at Hyperspace Mountain that you can check out with minimal wait time! You can also experience multiple other attractions in the park without ride overlays, but they also have very low waits due to the capacity of the event.
You also won’t want to miss some of the special dance party, Galactic DJ Party Zone taking place on Main Street, U.S.A.
And don’t forget about the Lightsaber Instructional over near “it’s a small world” This activity is open for all ages to enjoy, and it’s sure to be popular, so expect to wait a little while!

There’s even a Lightsaber Meet-Up with Rey near the Millennium Falcon.
We jammed out to some classic cantina tunes played by Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes, who cruised the Rivers of America.
You also won’t want to miss the special themed cavalcade with Mickey and Minnie that will parade down Main Street, U.S.A. The best part? If you’ve dressed up for the night, you may be invited to join the parade!
It’s the Fans of the Force Costume Cavalcade! These guests are all dressed up as their favorite Star Wars characters and are celebrating their fandom! #StarWarsNite pic.twitter.com/OpE6GpPQ9g

Characters
What’s Star Wars night without characters? Throughout the night, you’ll be able to meet tons of your favorite Star Wars characters in different areas of the park. Some of these characters are VERY rare, like C-3PO.

We even got to meet up with some Jawas and their Droid (or rather, probably a Droid they “acquired.”
We even got to say hello to Padme Amidala.
Mickey and Minnie greeted us in their special Star Wars-themed outfits. Mickey’s outfit was inspired by R2-D2, while Minnie’s outfit was inspired by BB-8.
Speaking of that sassy Droid, we also said hello to BB-8 later in the evening.
Don’t underestimate the power of the Dark Side: Emperor Palpatine also put in an appearance.
His apprentice, Darth Vader, was on hand to intimidate us — he even brought some Stormtroopers.
