If you’re getting tired of having 84 different streaming subscriptions — it looks like solutions are on the horizon.
Disney+ is already bundled with Hulu and ESPN, and the company also recently announced a new streaming bundle with Warner Bros. Discovery. But, another streaming bundle is about to enter the ring and we’ve got all the details.
Comcast has announced a new streaming bundle that will combine its in-house Peacock service with both Apple TV+ and Netflix. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the StreamSaver bundle will be available to all Comcast broadband, TV, and mobile customers.
CEO of Comcast Brian Roberts said the new bundle will debut “at a vastly reduced price to anything in the market today,” and continued, “We’ve been bundling video successfully and creatively for 60 years. And so this is the latest iteration of that and I think will be a pretty compelling package.”
Peacock’s standalone streaming service will see price increases across the board in the coming weeks. Peacock Premium (with ads) will increase by $2 to $7.99 per month and Peacock Premium Plus (mostly ad-free) will increase by $2 to $13.99 per month.
As of now, pricing for this new StreamSaver bundle hasn’t been announced just yet, but we’ll be on the lookout for any more updates!
