Thought about getting a character breakfast ADR, but glad we didn't. Had to walk through the area on the way to breaches and cream, and the smell from the clam bake/fish was too much to bear. My daughter was definitely glad we didn't get reservations there. If you can stand the smell of fish during the breakfast, then I am sure it is a great dining experience.

Cons:

smell

We had breakfast here 2 years ago and it was wonderful. We dined here on May 26th and it was the 2nd worst dining experience we had this trip. The food has definitely gone down hill. The best items I had were the mickey waffles and the fresh fruit. The eggs were runny and I think they may have been powdered eggs not fresh eggs. I really enjoyed the eggs with the chorizo sausage the last time. This time it was inedible. The bacon and sausage were good, but it is hard to ruin that. The characters did go table to table. We had a few minutes with Goofy and Donald, but we were lucky to get a wave and one picture with one person in our party of 7 with her. I don't think she took more than 30 seconds at our table. We will not be returning here in the future.

Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

Everything

We went for breakfast and were at the 8am seating. After being seated, it took our server 25 minutes to bring our drinks which he dropped off without saying a word (cold coffee and oj). We went to buffet to get food which was below average especially for a Disney restaurant (eggs & bacon were cold, even the Mickey waffles were hard). We sat at the table for over an hour before we saw our server again (I had to stop a manager to get him). He brought the check and I told him we were on the meal plan- I gave him a Disney gift card and wrote in my tip (I was a server for 10 years so tip at least 15% regardless of quality of service) he came back with receipt saying I still owed $30 (when I asked why he showed me that he tried to charge the whole bill instead of applying my meal plans) after asking for a manager AGAIN they "refunded" my card and charged my meal plan. (Later in the park I tried to use my card which I found out did NOT get refunded- and now they refuse to do anything about)
Goofy came to our table within the first 5 min of being seated and Pluto arrived before our server. Donald and Minnie didn't arrive until we were getting ready to walk out the door. By this point, my 6 year old was over the whole thing & I was irate at the whole experience.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Service, character interaction, food

By far this was the most disappointing character meal, and we have been to all on property but one. The food was plentiful, but not tasty. Screaming child running around. Had to wait over an hour twenty minutes to see each character.

Pros:

not much

Cons:

most everything

I was so disappointed in this character breakfast since it was getting rave reviews from several you tube Disney influencers. The food was standard banquet breakfast fare. Liquid scramble eggs, typical Disney bacon/sausage links, breakfast cubed potatoes, carved ham, Mickey waffles, chocolate chip pancakes, and a few other items. It just wasn’t tasty. Plus, only one character came over to visit while there. Paying $45+ for the food quality and lack of character interaction was not a good value. If you’re looking for a character breakfast, go to Toppolinos! For the same price, good quality food and terrific character interaction.

Pros:

Server! He was overwhelmed but still checked in frequently.

Cons:

Food and lack of character interaction.

If you want to see the characters for breakfast and you're staying near this hotel, it will get the job done. The food is nothing special and the atmosphere is loud and hectic.

Pros:

Characters in fun beach costumes.

Cons:

Mediocre food, unrelaxing atmosphere.

We had fun meeting the characters, but I think I would have preferred a character lunch or dinner over breakfast. The price for eggs and bacon is a little hard to justify.

Pros:

character interaction

Cons:

price

Party of 3 had ADR in December. We were seated fast and began getting up for breakfast, when goofy came over, I didn't even have my camera out. Characters felt a bit rushed around the room. Food was good enough and there were some good choices. Wait staff was wonderful, when I told her we were rushed through Goofy, she went and got him to come back. Very nice. Just ok though, might give it another try next year.

Pros:

wait staff, characters
