This might just be my experience but me and my friend went here as a party of two and we got put behind a family and it was so uncomfortable. Also the seats are so little like for reference me and my friend are not big by any means (5’0 and 5’5) and our legs were like squashed into the car. It wasn’t that big of a deal but just be expecting that because we weren’t but thats on us for not researching. Anyways in my opinion the food wasn’t that good and it tasted cheap for the expensive price we had to pay. It probably wouldn’t have been that bad if the server wasn’t rude. I know sometimes it gets busy but it wasn’t even busy in there. I wouldn’t personally recommend but if you have a party big enough to fill the 3 rows of the car (2 each) and dont mind being squished in then id say try it out 🙂
Pros:
-Atmosphere of the 50s movies playing and look of the old cars was coolCons:
-If you have a small party you have to sit with someone else -Seats are little -Expensive prices, cheap foodReviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 05/01/2023

Mickey and Minnie’s runaway railway went down while we were on it. I finally left to be able to make it to the Sci Fi Diner in time for our 1:30 reservation. I arrived at 1:28 and they said they couldn’t seat me without the entire party. I told them I would order all the food and the rest of my family would be there soon. They wouldn’t hold the reservation. They were off the ride by 1:38, so the food wouldn’t have even arrived by then. Considering the issue was a Disney ride you would think they’d have been a little more flexible. I would never return here and have really turned off to Disney completely. Money has turned into the priority with them and no longer the experience.

The SciFi Dine-in resturant is my sons favorite resturant. The menu is varied enough that we can all find something that appeals to each of us. Make sure to get a reservation with this one. Always people trying to get in as a walk up. The milk shakes are great.
Pros:
Cool and dark enough to refresh our spirits. Old black and white shorts are entertaining and funny.Cons:

we arrived a bit early for our ADR and were told rather rudely by the podium staff to "Come back later to check in". Once we were finally seated, and looked at the menu, we realized that they place is LONG overdue for an update. In the 20 years we've been coming to WDW, I don't think they have changed a thing here.
The food was mediocre, the waiter slow and just seemed to be going through the motions. There are so many old 50's B-movies, that you would think they could change them out occasionally....while we were there, they went through the loop at least 2-1/2 times....ugh.
We won't bother with this place again.

We waited almost 30 minutes past our reservation time to get into the restrant. we are on our honeymoon and I woke up at 2 am to book this reservation months in advance and I completely regret it. They sat us at a picnic table even though the reservation I made has a picture of the cars. they said there is no way we could wait for one even though 2 opened up right next to us within minutes! WAAAY too expensive for diner food at a picnic table. We where so excited and are so disappointed. cast members where nice enough just pushing stupid policy, people next to us disappointed too, no one wants those seats time to get rid of them.
Pros:
teeming great if you are lucky enough to not get bad seatingCons:

The food was not the greatest during our visit. We wasted a meal credit on this location. We did not enjoy some of the shows that were playing on the screen while we were. It was scary.
Pros:
cute themeCons:

It hurts me to give this place a bad review. But price weak menu and the worst meal of my life make it necessary.
My visit was in 2018 and my last. The food was not to McDonald's standards. The servers and prep cooks can only do so much with down graded food bought on the cheap, to maximize profits.
I can't even come up with an insulting phrase or comment to describe my experience.
I am pretty sarcastic and usually have something hilarious to drive home my point. But my meal was beyond
A sarcastic statement....
Unreal !

There's no denying the great theme to this sit-down restaurant, however the service is lacking, and apart from the milkshakes, the food itself is poor to mediocre at best.
Pros:
Great theming. Great milkshakesCons:

Service was the worst service I have ever received. We sat while everyone around us that arrived after us and placed their orders after us received their food. Waitress was not friendly not checked in to let us know what the delay was or apologize for the wait. I didn't leave a tip and made a point to write down no tip. Disney automatically charged a tip. I always leave a very good tip when it is deserved. This person did not deserve it.
