Disney World’s NEW Plush Collection Weighs 2.5 Pounds — Here’s Why!

There is certainly no shortage of Disney souvenirs when you’re visiting Walt Disney World.

There are MagicBands that you can use as you make your way around the parks, t-shirts for almost any ride or character you could think of, and TONS of stuffed animals for you to choose from. And, we stumbled upon new Disney plushes that have an extra purpose!

When we were visiting EPCOT, we stopped into Disney Traders on our way into World Showcase to do some browsing and found new weighted Disney plushes! These plushes are meant to “provide endless relaxation for you at home and beyond with a removable 2.5lb weighted pouch!”

And, they have a tag describing how to remove the weighted pouch from the velcro pocket on the back of the plush. So, it’s kind of like a weighted blanket, but way easier to take with you from place to place!

They come in a variety of different characters including Mickey Mouse…

…Minnie Mouse…

…Eeyore…

…and Stitch! So, you’ve got quite a few options for which character you’d like to snuggle with.

The weighted plushes cost $39.99 each and are available in quite a few different stores around Disney World like the Emporium at Magic Kingdom — just head to the plush section! And, as always, stay tuned for more Disney news and updates!
