Don’t Live in Florida? Here Are Your Disney World Annual Pass Options.

It has been over a year since new Disney World Annual Passes could be purchased, but sales will be resuming in just a few weeks!

Disney World Annual Pass

Today, Disney revealed details about FOUR new annual pass membership options, sharing everything from pricing to benefits to brand new add-ons. And, though there are plenty of options for Florida Residents, out-of-state guests won’t have as many choices as they have in the past.

Previously, non-Florida Residents had three different options when it came to Annual Passes. They could choose the Platinum Annual Pass, which cost $1272.68 a year, the Platinum Plus Annual Pass which cost $1379.18 a year, or Disney’s Premier Passport which cost $2,099 (and gave guests access to both Disney World and Disneyland).

These passes were part of eight total annual pass memberships, but under Disney’s new program there will now be only four options total. And, ONE of those options is available for out-of-state guests (who are not DVC members) — the Disney Incredi-Pass.

The Disney Incredi-Pass is now the only annual pass membership that can be purchased by everyone (including Florida Residents and out-of-state guests). It is the “highest” option and includes no blockout dates plus the ability to hold up to 5 park pass reservations at a time.

And, because it is the top tier option available, it is the priciest of the four new memberships with new Annual Passholders paying $1,299+ tax, or $99 per month for 12 months for Florida residents (after a $205 down payment). And, current annual passholders will receive a small discount with renewal, paying $1,104+ tax.

If you are a DVC member you will have the option to purchase the second tier, the Disney Sorcerer Pass, as well. However, those will be the only two tiers open to DVC members.

While the Disney Incredi-Pass does still feature free theme park parking and savings of up to 20% on dining, merchandise, and more in Disney World, unlimited PhotoPass downloads will no longer be included. Instead, guests can choose to add on the Disney PhotoPass downloads for $99 per year, per Annual Passholder.

The new Disney World Annual Passholder program will go on sale on September 8th and those who are current out-of-state Annual Passholders will need to renew their membership to the Disney Incredi-Pass when their renewal window occurs after this date. Just keep in mind that those who are not in their renewal window at that date will still hold their current membership level with a few adjustments to Park Pass Reservations including:

  • Disney Platinum Plus Pass: Can hold up to 5 Park Pass reservations at once
  • Disney Platinum Pass: Can hold up to 5 Park Pass reservations at once
