Even though we mostly share Disney World updates, we also like to see what’s going on at other spots like Universal Orlando, SeaWorld, and even smaller theme parks around the U.S. But today, we’ve got an unfortunate update about one of those smaller parks.

Bloloop reports that Evermore Park, a fantasy theme park in Pleasant Grove, Utah is permanently closing. The park announced its closure in a statement on its website.

Evermore opened in 2018 as an immersive and theatrical experience, and has seen hundreds of thousands of visitors since then. The park was also famous for its 2021 legal battle with Taylor Swift. Evermore sued Swift over the title of her album Evermore and then Swift followed with a countersuit.

In March 2021, both parties dropped their lawsuits. Now, local news reports say that the 12.75 acres owned by Evermore will become a new attraction. “We are grateful for the many amazing experiences that happened in our little park and hope that it made a positive impact on the people who visited, said Evermore Park owner Ken Bretschneider.

  1. I lived within a few blocks of Evermore park until I moved a few miles from it. Unfortunately, I never was able to visit but knew several who did and loved their experience. It will be interesting to see what the space ends up turning into. They also own an indoor go cart track next door. As far as I know, it isnt closing.
