NEWS: Refurbishment Announced for Disney’s Yacht Club Hotel Rooms

Planning to stay at one of Disney World’s hotels? Fantastic! There are a lot of factors that go into choosing what hotel is best for you and your group, and one of them may be what hotels are going to be under construction during your stay. If you were looking at Disney’s Yacht Club, there’s an update you need to know!

Disney announced that the Yacht Club Resort will be undergoing room refurbishments from January to May 2025.

While this may be good news for some people (yay, refreshed rooms!), it also means this hotel will likely be a little harder to navigate during the refurbishment, and hotel guests may have to deal with construction noises during the day if they’re not in the parks.

Additionally, we know that the Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck Pool at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts will be closed for refurbishments from January to June 2025.

Yes, this means that one of the largest pools AND rooms at the hotel will be closed at the same time. This can seriously impact your trip, so we recommend considering a different hotel if these closures will negatively impact your stay.
