NEWS: A Popular Game Show Is Filming at Disney World Soon

The Disney Parks are ridiculously popular around the world (and for good reason), so it’s no surprise that you could potentially bump into one of the world’s biggest movie stars or a Disney film icon. Sometimes, special filming can even be done at Disney World! Such is the case with a popular British game show and we’ve got the details!

In For a Penny, a British game show hosted by Stephen Mulhern is set to film its sixth series (season) finale at Disney World!

Based on a segment of the same name from Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, features Mulhern visiting UK cities and finding people to complete challenges for money. Each episode ends with an “In for a Penny, In for a Grand”, where contestants do silly things for a chance to win £1,000. The show began airing on ITV1 in 2019.

The series six finale will feature new games, including Diving for Dosh — where contestants will have their celebrity knowledge tested in an indoor pool — and the head-to-head Paint for Pounds game.

During the episode, Disney characters will join Mulhern for some wacky shenanigans!

Creative Director of In For a Penny, Diego Rincón, said “We are thrilled to be taking the epic In For A Penny to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida! This is a perfect partnership to create truly entertaining TV.”

Vice President of Disney Destinations International UK and EMEA, Angelica Costantini mirrored the sentiment, saying the company “can’t wait to bring Disney magic to homes across the UK.”

Filming and airdates have yet to be announced.
