This Is What a SOLD OUT Day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Looks Like

What’s it like to be in a “SOLD OUT” Hollywood Studios? We just FOUND OUT.

Toy Story Land Crowds

In the last decade, Hollywood Studios has arguably become Disney World’s number two park thanks to major additions like Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. With that has come some very crowded days in the park, including some “sell-outs” per Disney’s Park Pass calendar.

One of these Hollywood Studios (and Animal Kingdom) sell-outs happened on April 26th — possibly due to later spring break crowds — and we just happened to be in the park.

So, what was it like? Well, it’s not exactly what you’d expect.

“Sold Out”

Crowds were large in the park, but manageable, and wait times seemed to be relatively normal. For example, Rise of the Resistance was sitting at 60 minutes at one point in the morning.

Later in the day, the ride was only at 90 minutes as of 3:00PM, with nothing else in the park showing a wait time of over an hour at that mid-afternoon point.

In addition, from our observation, non-attraction lines weren’t that long either. For example, we were able to walk up to the counter at Trolley Car Cafe (the Starbucks location at this park) and encountered a wait of less than three minutes at Joffrey’s as well.

Heading out..

While today was technically “sold out” at Hollywood Studios, we didn’t find it to be more of a crowd-crush than most days. Stay tuned to AllEars for more Hollywood Studios coverage.
