Yia Sou Kouzzina

by David Abel AllEars.Net Guest Blogger It’s always a sad day when something comes to an end, so it almost seems poetic that Kouzzina by Cat Cora served its final meals on a dreary rainy evening. We were only slightly concerned about our dining experience. Would they be running out of food? Would the staff … Continue reading "Yia Sou Kouzzina"

Trattoria al Forno Replaces Kouzzina at Boardwalk

Posted on
Disney has announced that Italy will replace Greece on the Boardwalk starting in December 2014. Look for simple foods "trattoria" baked in an oven (al forno) at the new eatery serving dishes from Italy's various regions. Everything from Neopolitan pizzas, to pork chop alla Milanese, to house-made cavatelli, polenta and much more. For vegetarians - ruffled campanelle pasta with green beans, roasted potatoes and Genovese pesto. A seasonal risotto will always be on the menu. Paper-thin Italian meets, olives, caponata, pastas, fresh seafood and vegetables will all be part of the dining experience.

Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend – Dining

So what do you eat when you’re getting ready to run a marathon and half marathon? “Anything you want” sounds like a good answer…but that’s not what we did. One of the things you get pounded into you when you’re training is: “Don’t do anything different just before a race.” This applies not just to … Continue reading "Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend – Dining"

2010 Holidays at WDW – Part 7

All good things must come to an end…and today was the last day of our trip. It went way too fast! This was our coldest morning yet – 28 degrees at 8:00 (but felt like 20!). Still, it was a beautiful clear sunny day – hard to believe it was so cold until you went … Continue reading "2010 Holidays at WDW – Part 7"

Breakfast with a Greek Flair at Kouzzina

When vacationing at Disney World, breakfast can sometimes be an overlooked meal.
