We’ve already ridden the rollercoaster, brought you a first look at the queue, got the backstory for the villain, and have even seen a sneak peek at the on-ride photo, but all the previews are over and every guest can ride now — well, kind of! Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will not offer a traditional standby line and instead only offers a virtual queue which guests can test their luck to join at 7AM and 1PM daily. It’s also available as a pay-per-ride Lightning Lane option (if you’d prefer to guarantee yourself a ride at a cost) and now we know how much each ride will be!
At this time, Disney Genie+ pay-per-ride attractions include Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in Magic Kingdom, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Hollywood Studios, Flight of Passage in Animal Kingdom, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure (at least until May 31st), and the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT.
It’s important to know that, unlike Genie+, these Individual Attraction Selections vary in price per ride, per day. We’ve seen prices range from $7 to $15 for the most popular rides in the past so we were curious to see how much EPCOT’s newest coaster would cost.
Disney had not previously shared how much it would cost to skip the line at this ride, but on the attraction’s opening day, we saw in My Disney Experience that the Individual Lightning Lane was available for $17 per person. This price will vary by the day and may go up or down depending on a multitude of different factors like whether you’re visiting on a weekday, weekend, or holiday.
Only a few days later, the price to skip the line for Cosmic Rewind had dropped to $14. Keep in mind that Individual Attraction Selection pricing is based on the day of your visit and expected crowd levels, so be sure to check the My Disney Experience app the day of your visit to know for sure.

I will never pay to ride the rides once I pay to get into the park that’s ridiculous
I agree! Totally disgusting to charge for a ride in a park we already had to pay mega bucks to get in!
There should be a charge of $50 for the lightning lane This would help shorten the line and increase availability
for people who want to spend less time in lines. Disney has been too much of a bargain for so long that everyone could visit and take up room in the parks.

While the bean counter is happy to be making your vacation even more expensive, I’m sure Walt Disney is rolling over in his grave with how greedy his management team has become
