Disney Reveals OPENING DATE for NEW 'Zootopia' Land!

Are you ready to enter the world of Zootopia?!

It’s been over four years since we first learned about the new Zootopia-themed land coming to Shanghai Disneyland, and we have been listening for more details ever since. We knew it would be opening sometime in 2023, but now we have an official opening date!

Disney’s new Zootopia land will officially be opening on December 20th, 2023!

In this new land, guests will be able to immerse themselves in the world of Zootopia with new attractions, entertainment, merchandise, and food and beverage options. Until now, we had only had a general idea of when we’d be able to check this new land out.

Once this new land opens, guests will be able to meet some of their favorite characters from the film! The Hopps family will be there, interacting “amongst themselves (and sometimes even with you!)” — from the windows of Zootopia’s buildings.

There will also be a new attraction — Zootopia: Hot Pursuit! On this new attraction, guests will enter the ZPD for orientation and be greeted by Officer Clawhauser. Afterward, you’ll be whisked away to help with an emergency to save Gazelle, who has been kidnapped.

And, of course, there will be new snacks! At Jumbeaux’s Cafe, an ice cream shop you may recognize from Zootopia, guests can try a sweet and tart paw-shaped popsicle, along with chocolate doughnuts, and more.
