Today is the day, friends.
Today, Splash Mountain closes in Disney World for good. This means the ride is VERY popular today at both the Lightning Lane and regular queue. In fact, it was so popular that by 10AM this morning, the ride sold out!
We were checking the wait times from the moment we stepped into the park. At 9:30AM, it was already a 90-minute wait.
Shortly after, we noticed that all the Lightning Lane spots were booked up!
This means that for the rest of the day, all guests who want to ride who didn’t secure a Lightning Lane selection already will have to go through the standard queue line. Sometimes more Lightning Lanes will be released throughout the day, so if you’re in the parks, keep refreshing!
If you’re visiting Magic Kingdom this weekend and don’t have an interest in riding the ride, we suggest staying away from that area as a whole to avoid the crowds. Be sure to stay tuned to AllEars all day to stay updated on everything happening on this ride’s last day!
